Reno Oral Surgery Services
At our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery facility, we start with the referral from your dentist or physician, and then perform a consultation to determine how we can best serve you. We offer comprehensive oral and maxillofacial services including: wisdom teeth extraction, tooth replacement with dental implants, evaluation and treatment of oral lesions, and other jaw surgery.

Dear Valued Patient:
We hope that this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last 2 years, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, Dr. Daniel Muff and Dr. Kimberly Bentjen’s office has remained the same: our constant commitment to your safety and health.
As you may have seen during visits to our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at Reno Oral Surgery both safe and comfortable.
Our office follows and exceeds infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to closely monitor the recommendations of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols. For example:
If you are not feeling well, have a cough, or a fever, stay home! We will send patients home that have any symptoms and will reschedule you for a later date.
Thank you, so much, for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty, and we look forward to safely welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
Sincerely,
Daniel F. Muff, D.D.S., M.D.
Kimberly Bentjen, D.D.S., M.D.

When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols. For example:
- During this time, for social distancing, we will be using our waiting room when conditions allow. You may come into the office wearing a mask. We are glad to help you.
- Our office will communicate with you ahead of your appointment to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions, again, when you arrive at the office.
- We may call/text when we are ready to take the patient directly back to the consultation or treatment areas.
- When entering the office, please wear a mask, and we will ask that you use hand sanitizer or wash your hands. There will be hand sanitizer throughout the office for you to use, as needed. As well, patients’ temperatures will be taken.
- Please wash your face and brush your teeth prior to arriving at our office so we can get your appointment started promptly when you arrive.
- To maximize social distancing, we are strictly limiting the number of people in the office.
- We will try to maintain social distancing and ask that non-patients wait in your car or take a stroll during the patient’s appointment. However we realize that a spouse, companion, parent, or guardian may be necessary for the appointment. We strive for a limit of one additional person.
- We apologize for any inconveniences these extra measures may have caused. Please know, as always, we are putting safety first.
If you are not feeling well, have a cough, or a fever, stay home! We will send patients home that have any symptoms and will reschedule you for a later date.

Sincerely,
Daniel F. Muff, D.D.S., M.D.
